The FDA has never established Recommended Daily Allowances (RDA) for amino acids and many other common nutrition factors. With the passage of the Dietary Supplement Health Education Act we are able to pass along to you amounts or dosages recommended by many clinicians whose clients or patients have been advised to use NeuBecalm'd.
NeuBecalm'd chewable tablets are best if used on an empty stomach. If this causes stomach distress then some carbohydrate, in addition to the tablet, is recommended.
To best achieve sub-lingual absorption it is recommended that it be chewed into very fine granules and kept in the mouth for up to two minutes before swallowing.
Premature swallowing or inadequate chewing of the tablet may result in slightly diminished effect as compared to dissolving the tablet in the mouth.
NeuBecalm'd chewable tablets are formulated at approximately one half the typical capsule strength. Post respective reports from users have confirmed that this dose appears equivalent and adequate, probably due to sub-lingual absorption of the active ingredients. Some persons may need amounts in excess of that suggested below. A recommended daily starting dose is as follows:

Warnings:
Phenylketonurics: contains phenylalanine. Not intended for use by phenylketonurics, pregnant or lactating women. Do not take with MAO inhibitor antidepressant drugs.

Directions for use:
Take 30 minutes or more before meals. To best achieve absorption it is important that each tablet be chewed very well.
Precautions:
Should not be taken with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI’s), antipsychotic medications or for panic disorders. Should not be used by pregnant or lactating women. Should not be used by phenylketonurics (PKU). This product is not intended to take the place of prescription medications. Anyone taking medications should consult a doctor before using any product.
